How About This Mama?
What did I expect? I asked Kara to go through her toy box & make a pile of things she no longer plays with to donate to children less fortunate than herself. I left her to her assigned task, as I started on her bookshelf.
About half an hour later, here she came with this TEENY-TINY, COOKIE CUTTER TOY (which is actually part of a Noah's Ark SET), stating this was all she could find to give away! I doubled over laughing! (She didn't find it humerous at all). All upset, she said "You know, we could SELL this for at least $20.10"! I am not sure where she came up with that amount but I ended up laughing even harder! WHAT DID I EXPECT?!

Look Who's Seven Years Old!
November 8, 2008 Kara Renee turned seven! She was surrounded by 3 of her best friends (Antonio, Aurora & Sara). Her theme was "My Little Pony" & we had an indoor pool party at the North Pole Middle School. She didn't want a traditional birthday cake, instead she chose a HUGE, two layered, chocolate chip cookie!
At the end of her special day, I asked her what she thought about her birthday and she said "It was all about me so it was perfect"! Well, guess that sums it up....too funny!

Hanging Out
We've had a relaxing four day weekend. We booked a seven day cruise in March to celebrate our 20th anniversary. We'll do this in conjunction with our move to Colorado (& Spring Break for Kara). Ahhhh....dreaming of hanging out on the beach, or deck of the ship, saying goodbye to dark, cold winter of Alaska & hello to a new resting place!
